A Happy Healthy Day of Eating #4
CATEGORIES: Nutrition
Today was filled with slight dis-organisation and feeling a bit ill ( trying to fight hay fever completely naturally but have yet to completely nail it on the head – I will share all about it soon!) and spaced out:) Nevertheless it was tasty day…
Waking: Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water, followed by a nettle tea later.
Breakfast: ‘What is Have in the Fridge Smoothie’ (catchy name) which contained a ripe banana, 1/2 a lettuce, 2 carrots, 4 strawberries, water, whey, homemade yogurt, cinnamon and about 1-2 tbspn of chia seeds.
A few cubes of some attempts I have made at homemade chocolate – the recipe is not quite perfected but still edible and great for a pre long cycle boost (don’t worry i will go through the hard ship of making it and eating it until I discover the perfect recipe…)
Entered a well known coffee house – my place of temptation- but today I knew the coffee shop may appear more than once so resisted milky coffee and asked for hot water and put in my own nettle tea bag. Still get a coffee shop experience but a more budget friendly one:)
Lunch: With my lovely friends of Mabels Log tuna salads with load of cold pressed olive oil, 1/2 avocado and tons of lettuce.
Snack: I was starving and about to do the long cycle home so bought 2 Nakd bars ( one of the few acceptable shop bought , processed foods as they are just smooshed raw fruit and nuts) and wolfed them down with an iced decaf Amerciano.
Dinner: Late home so it was chicken stir-fry all the way, followed by cheese, apple slices and homemade peanut butter and a glass of wine… it was one of those days.

[…] will have noticed on my Healthy Happy Day of Eating posts that smoothies often appear. I love smoothies as they help use up any waste/left over fruit […]
