They felt embarrassed, really limited and came to me after trying a million different things and working with a lot of different people and having already done a lot of tests.⁣

There is no beating around the bush - working on a There is no beating around the bush - working on and figuring out what the heck is going on with your health does not always feel easy.

It can feel hard.

Hard because google constantly tells you different things, or your Dr has no idea, and you don't even know what your symptoms mean.

Hard because you can feel alone.

And ESPECIALLY hard because when we want something to change - we have to invest in it. Often our money but also time or energy and (the thing that feel MOST risky is) our hope too.

And investing any of our resources can feel risky but money can feel super sticky. I personally find it hard. And this is for many reasons. But one I've been noticing recently is that as a woman, I've never really seen any other women before me model investing in themselves. Investing in their health. Investing in their well-being in a holistic, serious, supportive way.

I've only seen women diet, apply faddy formulas, and try to be thin.

I've only really seen women burning out, in survival mode, pushing through.

I've never had a role model of someone valuing her own health, body, belly, mind, skin, and hormones so much that they invest in it like they would in their homes, family, holidays, cars, or smartphones.

That is why it feels scary to me. I have never seen it modelled or done before, so it feel excessive, radical, un-wise, not financially prudent, scary and 'not allowed'.
I am used to seeing women, burn out, tolerate or outright hate their bodies, and feel shame around their symptoms/skin/hormones/fat/scars/mental-health/bowels.

I am NOT used to seeing a WELL woman.

So I have been learning how to do that for myself ...and for my daughters.

I want to show the world was a WELL woman looks like. Not a perfectly thin, has it all together, is always 'fine' and has a six-pack.

No. A woman with energy, balanced hormones, glowy aging skin, a resilient mind and mental health, a strong body and immune system, with no drama poo, who is feeling better as they age.

Not perfect and not always in control - but WELL.

So my question for you this week is - do you want to be a WELL woman?

THIS. This is something I have to still be super THIS. 
This is something I have to still be super intentional about and it’s something all my client struggle with.
But you cannot heal your belly, hormones, sleep, skin, mind - if you are stuck in chronic fight flight mode.
You can’t.
And I KNOW you probably don’t think you are in this state - you are coping just fine right? 
That doesn’t mean you are thriving - it just means your ‘normal’ is chronic stress.
And the best way to really find out - is to listen to you body. If you have a whole array of symptoms and issues - you are in chronic stress.
How our wonderful humans brains can hold us back…& what a salad can teach us about making progress and seeing quicker easier results in our health.

Maybe not a popular opinion but body freedom to me comes from choice. In knowing how to do something and then you truly get to decide if you want to apply the knowledge.
You get to decide - once you know how - if you care about it enough to apply it and prioritise it. And equally if it’s not a priority for you then cool - you don’t do it but at least you know it’s an option.
